IMPORTANT INFORMATION

 

By confirming your booking, you agree to the following terms & conditions:


Booking & Payment

  • A deposit is required to confirm your booking. The deposit is 50% of the total package value. This deposit is non-refundable if you cancel within 48 hours of the scheduled shoot.
  • For weekend bookings, the deposit must be confirmed within 1 working day, while weekday bookings require confirmation within 3 working days.
  • If your booking is not confirmed within the stated timeframe, it will be released to other clients.
  • Remaining balance is due on or before the day that the images are released to you.


Refunds & Cancellations

  • If you arrive more than 10 minutes late, you forfeit any time lost.
  • If you are late for the entire session, you will forfeit 100% of the shoot value.
  • If you cancel on the day of the shoot or do not show up, the shoot value is non-refundable.
  • If the photographer is unable to attend the session, you will receive a full refund.
  • If the client cancels within 24 hours, or is late such that the photographer cannot complete the shoot, no refund will be issued.


Rescheduling & Reshoots

  • If you need to reschedule within 36 hours of the shoot, a fee of 60% of the total package value will be applied.
  • If you request a reshoot and it is agreed upon by the photographer, the reshoot must be done within 3 months, otherwise, the offer for reshoot will expire.
  • For family sessions, ensure children are well-rested and fed and well-behaved & does not touch any of the photographer’s equipment. If a child is uncooperative, a rescheduling fee of R850 will be applied.


Photo Locations

  • All shoots can be done in the comfort of your own home, studio or and desired location of your choice
  • Studio hiring costs will be added to the requested photo package, should you choose to shoot in a studio chosen by me
  • If you choose the shoot location, you are responsible for obtaining all necessary permissions for photography. The photographer is not liable for fines or penalties if permissions are not obtained


Transport / Travel Fees

  • Transport/Accommodation costs are NOT included and will be charged separately (will be included on the quotation if needed)



Editing & Special Requests

  • Photo editing takes between 3-5 working days after the shoot. Please note: The selection, editing and processing work takes many hours. Much more than the shoot itself
  • The photographer uses a natural editing style. Basic edits include removal of blemishes and minor touch-ups. Specialized edits such as body reshaping, background changes, or adding extra people will incur an additional fee, starting at R40 per photo.
  • The photographer reserves the right to charge for specialized editing based on complexity and time required.


Image Delivery & Output

  • The photographer will deliver final photos within the specified turnaround time on the chosen photography package. Any delays will be communicated in advance.
  • The exact number of images, according to the chosen photo package will be edited & delivered to you. Any extra images can be requested at R40 per image. No unedited/raw files will be distributed.
  • Photos are delivered via a digital download link, depending on the package requirements. You must download all your images within 7 days. Additional fees may apply for re-sending the download link.
  • No printouts. Any image print outs/photo books/canvases will be available on request and will be billed separately
  • If photos are printed, the photographer recommends using professional photo labs to ensure quality
  • Please do not alter, crop or add any filters/color changes to any images that I’ve edited. This is to maintain the integrity of my work and reputation as a photographer.


Copyright & Social Media

  • The photographer retains copyright of all photos. Clients have unlimited, non-exclusive rights to use and print photos.
  • The photographer may post photos on social media (except photos where there are children). If you prefer not to have your photos posted, you must inform the photographer.


Tips for a Smooth Session

  • Arrange your own makeup at least 2 hours before the shoot.
  • Plan your journey, considering traffic and other potential delays.
  • If using a location provided by the photographer, confirm details 24 hours before the shoot.
  • If a child or family member is ill, consider rescheduling to ensure a successful session.
