Meet the Photographer

Hey, my name is Lungile Mgabi

I am a Johannesburg-based photographer with more than 9 years of experience in the industry, incorporating photography with fashion and graphic design. My eye for things, both seen and unseen, has always been keen and detailed despite being born and raised in Johannesburg, South Africa.

The streets, people, and lifestyle in and around Johannesburg, the city where I was raised and still reside, are the main sources of inspiration for most of my works. Throughout my career as a photographer, I've had the opportunity to collaborate with craftsmen, artists, jewelry designers, and artisans to produce distinctive and original content.

My works are always focused on promoting local content, whether it's through design or photography. Photography is something I deeply admire and have a strong passion for. My aim is to consistently capture captivating, timeless images that are as individual as the people and things depicted in them.
